This course describes basic usage techniques for OrCAD Capture CIS and OrCAD CIP. This course is dependent on using the OrCAD Starter Database which is included in the initial software and may be installed at that time. Please be aware that if you are using your own database, and not the OrCAD Starter database, that the training material will not map to your specific library parts. Additionally, this course does not handle the steps for setting up a database or importing large amounts of data. Generating a new database is handled in the Administrative section of the User Guide. Also in the Administrative section are the steps for using the CIP Importer which is a utility included with the software that enables you to import large amounts of data into your database.
